rotas are good for the money. lots of haters here since they replicate all the major wheel brand models, but oh well. just dont stick volks stickers on them and you are ok in my book

Sounds like a good deal , and you could probably use them as track wheels later on.

That will work. Plenty of suitable tire sizes available.

I thought stock tire sizes were bigger than 235's in the rear... So you're going smaller than stock tire size on a wider than stock wheel?

You are going to put a 235 mm tire on a 9.5 inch wheel? Cool. Post some photos.

um, considering the smallest you should go on a 9.5 width wheel is a 255, there is plenty wrong with your set up. plus no respectable tire shop would ever mount that tire onto that wheel.

again, the best suggestion for you is to keep your current set up and tires. next time buy the wheels first, then the tires. or you can sell the tires and get a proper fitting set of wheel/tires for your car.

if you are not going to do it right the first time, do not do it at all.

^^I agree...excessive stretch, like youll get with 235 on a 9.5" wide tire, on a Daily Driving car is not practical nore is it smart.

Im biased though, I have 275's on my 8.5" rear rims..I like fat stickin' out a little.

though a shop will put on any tire you want if you pay them...cause thats all they care about...they dont care if your a dumbass, heh.

Do what i did...used the tax return plus a little (way less than 1000!) and picked myself up a nice set of new 19" Axis Hiros + tires with very little out of pocket. Let uncle sam save up the money for you bro. I dont know about everyone else, but rims/tires are one of the more costly mods you can add (excluding turbo/SC kits), so once thats out of the way your good to go start saving for that body kit...may take alittle (next tax season =))but at least you have so nice rims for an instant beautification.

no point in going cheap on the shoes, you will regret it later!

And your nuts if you think you can fit those f1's on those rims.
Sell the tires, start the process from scatch and do your research before you go spending anymore money.

All of you are right! My brother is a mechanic and he gave me a lesson on wheel and tire 101. He showed me that if we attemped to mount those tire there will be excessive strain on the sidewall and cause the middle of the tire to bow in. I went ahead and got new tires from treadepot.com. I got 2 255/40/17 front and 2 275/40/17 rear Fierce Ultra high performance tires. Anyone interested in getting a really good price on tires call them and ask for Roger. He hooked me up with free shipping and $96 per tire. Really good deal. Tell him a guy named Paul Graham referred you.

Much more sensible. Not crazy about the tire brand but size is responsible.
