17's for track and weight savings ftw! we understand you are going to medical school but that doesnt give you an excuse to do every cheap pepboys/ebay mod possible. leave the vinyl overlay stuff to the ricers. keep her clean bro, i like the wheels.

I'm planning on getting the same wheels or FN01RC but in flat black (can't really tell where the tires and wheels meet so it doesn't look as small). Not everyone can lay down for volks. I just sold my 19'' volks so I could afford better rubber for autox/HPDE.

There is really nothing wrong with 17" wheels on the Z. I had 17's when I first got my car back in 2003. They were 17" X 9.5" Borbet wheels. I have since replaced them with 18" and more recently with 19" wheels. I liked the Z when it had the 17's........

Ha thanks for the defense Jason. I am new to the car world, I have only owned 2 vehicles and both of them were massive with no power. I had a 1991 Jeep Wrangler with 35's and 9 inch lift and had a 2004 toyota tacoma that I just sold 3 weeks ago for my Z. My tacoma was a 4 cyl pushing 36 inch tires with a 9 inch lift. Imagine the available power there! NONE. It wouldnt even go over 70. I have always wanted a Z and now I have one. I absolutlely love it and honestly I like the 17 inch rims because I like some meat on my tires. Just looking for the support guys not critisim.

Ya i know haha. The main reason I went with the 17's was because I was offered a deal I couldnt pass up. I got all four wheels for 500 buck and the lady even drove 7 hours to give them to me for an extra 50 bucks. They were still in sealed box and never unwrapped. I also got an INCREDIBLE DEAL on tires. I ordered my tires from treadepot.com an Roger hooked me up with free shipping PLUS 50% Off each tire. So I only paid 385 total for my 275 and 255 tires. Cant pass that up huh?

Ya those look good bro. You have more of a gap between your tires and wheel well than I do but I still like it.

"Just looking for the support guys not the criticism"

Boy did u come to the wrong place. LOL.

Honestly not feelin it at all (even tho I know this isn't what u wanna hear, but it's a forum so live with it). I can def. Understand wanting to mod but not having the extra money to back the desire, but I think stock 18s look nicer. But hey, your car, your money. Good luck w/ the future modding. I'd suggest saving up and modding w/ taste and quality parts - especially for the body styling, bc cheaping out and modding too fast will make your car look worse than stock. This is pretty common on this forum. Search will be your best friend.

i think your car looks good with the wheels the only thing that makes them look small is the wheel gap which your taking care of. the link where you got your tires looked it over and its way cheaper than the place was quoting me for just a pair of tires here in town.

I think they look good. Like people have been saying you're just a mild drop away from having a clean looking car. Maybe add a short antenna then leave it alone.

In order to get Free shipping and discount on tires call them and ask for Roger. Tell Roger you were referred to him by Paul Graham. He will give you a huge discount
