Stock weight Vs. TE37
Hey I'm new here, but I have been on otrher forums for years. So yeah I did do a search, just couldnt find what I wanted.
Soon I will be buying an Enthusiast Z.
What are the weights of the stock 17's front and rear?
And what is the weight of the Volk TE37's (19inch gunmetal)
I really hope they rae lighter or no more then a pound or so heavier then stock.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Jason

Onnne more question.
Where is the best place to get the 19 x 8.5 front and 19 x 9.5 rear TE37's in a gunmetal finish? Good price, reputable company that people have had good service with.
Every place I look seems too only ave white, silver, or bronze.

the stock weigt of the enthusiest wheels is 53 pounds with tires when i lowered my car i weiged the tires on my enthusiest and they were all 53 the te 37 with tires will be right around 10 pounds lighter with tires on a 19 inch rim hope i could help im thinkin about going with gt-7s you should check those out or the gt-c both volk
the te37s are around 20lbs per rim, maybe 21? stock 17s are about 23. difference is your putting 19" tires, you had 17" the 19" have much less sidewall and thus lighter. you should save a good bit. I went from stock 18s to regular 18s, Im guessing I lost around 40-50lbs from the swap.
never got around in weighing the stock track wheels n tires..
but i DID weigh the TEs... 19x8.5,9.5,10.5
plz see:

also.. keep in mind, larger diameter wheels carry more mass on the outside of the wheel... the wheel can be lighter than stock, but your times might be slower due to rotational mass & energy used to spin the wheels.

Jsn350Z- I have gunmetal 19" TE-37's on my Z (8.5 and 9.5/+22 offset). I work near Winchester and the 85. Let me know if you want to stop by and check them out to figure out if you like this set up or not.
