Default would used tires be a bad decision for me?

I bought my Z brand new with about 50 miles in it back in september
It has almost 10,000 miles on it now, and Nissan tells me I need new rear tires. I agree with them, but not with the price. they want ~700 for a pair of 2 rear potenzas. That's wayyyy too much.

I found a pair of used rear potenzas for $100 with about 75% tred left. Would it be a bad decision to buy used tires? I can buy a brand new pair for about $400 from other places.

I pretty much use it for daily driving. The occasional launch here and there. I try to take it easy on my tires, no drifting, no standing burnouts, nothing too drastic. Any advice on tires?

stearlership is always going to jack the price ridiculously i would say get your rear tire measurements ( not sure which model you have) and shop and search online 700 a pair is a bit high i'd stay away from used parts for a car you dont know what the person before you put those tires through Z aint a cheap toy it eats premium and rolls on thick staggered tires

Yes. Bad. Damage from pot holes. No telling how many times the tires are patched. Tires look great but fail at 100 MPH. No fun for you.

If the tires aren't mounted you could see any patches or wear pattern from the inside.
