I looked around and thought I read that a 295/35/18 would fit on an 18x9.5 wheel. Is this pushing it, or would that be fine? The tire in question is a Nitto INVO.

Not really...in the sense it's not gonna be buldging out over the rim...

I'd stay with 285 on a 9.5

I have a 295 on my 9.5. I am using a vredstien? tire. Not a lot of bulge.

I helped a friend with a new tire/wheel set-up for his supercharged Z. I had an extra set of 9.5/10.5 SSR Comps, so we got them painted black and I mated them to 285 front / 315 rear Toyo R888s. The grip is addictive - he will be taking it back to the track with the new set-up on 13 May. I took it out for a hard spin and no rubbing - fenders are rolled.

Front 18x9.5 +25 with 285/30/18; Rear 18x10.5 +43 with 315/30/18
