Official Aggressive Wheels & Fat Tires Thread
i got the wheels and 2 315's for an insane steal of a price. just looking on a corresponding front tire size that will work with the 315's. they are 9.5" up front. my old setup (275/35/19) was +2 and it sat pretty flush. im just looking for no rubbing, and decent fitment.
315 on a 10.5 +11 is no bueno unless you are rolled tightly and have a fair amount of camber. I like a 10.5 to be +30s with a big tire.
How low are you? That will definitely make a difference too.
I'm not a fan of the tucking tire look, but a lot of people on here are. I'm running a 295 on my 10.5 +15 wheel out back with a 1/3" gap between the tire and fender. I could take some measurements if you want a reference point.

^yea please. my car is not ungodly low, my tire was just meeting the fender, not tucked in yet. i wouldnt mind a little poke either, i just want traction, my main goal. and seeing as my turbo is mounted out back, i cant go much lower
BBK clearance issues but will test fit with brembos or sports brakes. The smallest I would go are 17s but really dont want to go lower than 18s with DRs. I need a 28" tall tire with my FD and auto to trap 150 at the top of 3rd on the 1/4mile and also doesn't hurt top speed on 4th...198
Brembos were my last resort to get the proper tire on without going to small of a wheel. I really want to use the stoptech setup 6/4 BBK.
Yes over 1000whp, v8 turbo with a 4L80e.

I'm going to go ahead and order 18x10.5 R AND 18x9.5 F in +12 or +15 it's gonna have to fit...worst case is a 285 or 275 40 on the rears but I'm pretty sure the 305s will fit theoretically.I took some rough measurements for the rear, this is OEM setup.
strut to edge of fender is 12.75"
surface of hub to edge of fender is 3.5"
Now I'm rolled, pulled and banged out so it should be fine.I'm going to measure the fronts in a bit.

The 40 sidewall will be the only possible issue. You may have to go 35. I wouldn't want a DR, except for the street. You are going to light up an 18" DR at 100mph at that power level. Also, ditch the 4l80 and go to a glide or th400.
Yea I m going to test fit some radials.. im going to light up good but it'll hook. M/T or M&H if im going 35 series otherwise Nitto DR. This will be in the street moreso but I also have another set of wheels for other purposes.
I'm sticking to the 4l80, already ordered. It can hold 1500hp and plus I get to paddle shift with it in case I want to road race on low boost.

So what do you all think. Pretty sure I'm completed with the new wheel/tire/suspension set-up. Already on the car; Hotchkis TVS kit w/ SPL End-links front & rear.

It's not the most aggressive setup here, but I wanted to share my new daily setup.
Usual RPF1 18" 9.5/10.5 +15 in SBC. 275/35 front, 285/40 rear.
I planned on 295/35 rear, but I got these Goodyear F1 Supercars on closeout for $100 each and couldn't pass it up. The front pokes by just a few mm and rubs on hard bumps. I plan on dialing in a little more neg camber for autocross season anyway, so that should solve it.
