Thanks, I appreciate the input. Maybe down the road when I feel the need for wider tires Ill repost. BTW, whats the official minimum to qualify to post in this thread. Just curious...

are we talking 19's , you probably want a 30 series for a 295/305 rear.

EDIT: Just ran the numbers again and must've screwed up the first time. The difference is only 2.65% for a 305/35 from 245/45. Do you still recommend a 30 series? Wheels will be 10.5 or 11 inches wide with about +15 offset. Mild (1"-1.25") drop on coils.

Didn't include diameter
but thank you. Was just curious since I've heard bad things about 30 series tires. Might go with a 285/35-19 rear then due to poor roads.

305/30-19 rear with a 245/35-19 would work fine, it's more of a setup for a high power car that is set up for point and shoot in the corners. A 275/30-19 would also work great up front with that rear size and give better handling.

NEED HELP! I want a a much meatier tire but I am wondering if I can make it work with pulling and rolling the fenders.
I am currently running 19x11 offset +25 all the way around with a 5mm spacer upfront and a 20mm spacer in the back. My tire stretch is aggressive at 245/35. I want to increase this to 265/35 or 275/35 for a meatier look.
Will it work?

Hey guys I'm getting ready for my LS swap in 2 months (everything bought, not a dream build), and as I'll be losing VDC, I need to get all I can from the tires (Sways, coils, arms, all done).
Volk gts 9.5 +17 10.5 +18. I just got new wider rears (pic below) ...hankook v12 305/30/19. Fronts are currently 245/35/19. What should I go with, that would work best with the new rears (traction is a priority, but I'm sure it will help with the current wheel gap!). 255/35? 275/35?? I'm not sure.
