Official Aggressive Wheels & Fat Tires Thread
I've decided to be less of a chicken, but still not leave the coop.
I'm ditching the 275/35/18s and going 295/35/18s.
My BBS RS were custom made. I asked for 9.5 and 10.5. But because how tires are fitting, I think the front might be 9.0 and the rear 11.
I currently have 245/40 in the front and 275/35 in the rear. The front tire fits fine. A 255 might have been perfect. The rear is definitely stretched. Compare my pictures below to ARSZ34 in posts right above. He's running a 275/35 same tire on a 10.5 and doesn't look at stretched.
I'm debating putting the 275's up front, but will it look stupid with the front having more "bulge" compared to the rear? I'm predicting the 295's to fit flush. The 275's on the front would look meatier. Should I stick with the 245 up front and the 295 rear? Maths says this will work, but highway handling? It's an odd setup, just like the 40 series up front and 35 in rear, but it also keeps VDC happy and actually handles fine.
Here are pictures that I have that best show the tire/wheel fitment currently.
(yes fenders are getting fixed too while the wheels are off again... fking slammed and poke ********)

Damn, that looks good Chris.
I'm now shopping for rear tires on 18x10 +24 wheels.
It was suggested that I could go up to 295/35 on the wheels. I don't track the car a lot, so I'm wondering if that's overkill. I have 275/40 on there right now.

My buddy had rpf1 18x10.5 +15 295-35 and it looked great. Same situation no track days. Ztouring04 was his name.

Hey guys, I'm not on here often but if finally got my new wheels on and decided to join the band bagon. What you see isn't the final product yet, need to raise the rear some and adjust toe and it's done. They're 19 inch Work VS-XX. 305/30/19 front - 325/30/19 rear

It sucks because it can be a good combo.
