To be honest I am just starting to datalog when I run. I am sure the drag is down. I deff know the dirt is way up. The inside of the door after an event is filled with tire and course debris. I would like to think so .

But I have been asked and complimented on my rocket bunny Foos buying the complete kit

Anybody know if I can run 255/40/18 and 295/35/18 without causing problems with the traction control? I have 18x9.5 +15 255/40/18 and 18x10.5 +15 275/40/18 right now. i need to replace my rear tires soon. My front tires are still new. Not sure if i want to stick with the same size or go wider. Will the 40mm stagger cause alot more understeer?

Fat tire gods, hear my inquiry!

I'm retiring my square setup RPF1 18x10.5 and 275/40/18's as I will be moving to somewhere in the 48 Continental states a year from now so I will save this setup and threads for the fun tracks out there.

I picked up a set of Volk GT-S 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 (+18 or 22 maybe) and I would like to run fat tires as well for these. I was pondering 255/35 and 285/35 or 265/35 and 295/35.

Pic of my current setup...in action

Made the conversion from stance/stretched to this.. still a work in progress. Going to space the rear out about 5-10mm and add ARP studs. Front fitment is butter, rear not so much since I had them pulled. 18x9.5 et12 square, 265/35. Thinking about switching to R888s next go around and running 275/40, thoughts?

I think the 275 on your wheels would be perfect. However, the guys in this thread will tell you that a 275 is still too small to post here.

As far as the R888, I have no experience with them

Really? Still too small? Dang, I guess I'll have to work up and have some custom wheels made so I fit in somewhere again haha. I think I'll probably give the 275/40s a shot and see how they work out for me.

You can see that the 265 is pretty square/mate up fairly well with the lip of the wheel. Looking for a bit beefier look too though, so I'll give it a shot!

Yea I think the cutoff around here is anything over a 275 is allowed. Meaning a 285 is good to go. I have a 275/35 on a 9.5 wheel to give you an idea of the fitment (Note only my rears are this size)

ran 3 sets of R888...they were the go to tires for traction, but now there are other options and more importantly, they will also last twice as long, and actually have some decent performance on the wet conditions....
Id recommend the Yokohamas AD08R, been quite happy since the switch!

Time to start moving these narrow tire pics out of this thread again. If you have a 255 or smaller tire installed, you are running an average sized tire
