Perfect! That's what I was looking for, a real world example. I'm not too worried about 2mm, thanks!

Default Tire & Wheel fitment

Just picked up a 04.5 Touring. It's stock and will remain that way for now. Looking for recommendation on wheels/tires. I'd like to go as wide as possible without body mods. I was thinking 9.5x18 & 10.5x18 w/245/40 and 275/35. Is this possible and what would you use for offsets?

Thanks in advance!

get your rear fenders rolled and you can run a 18x10.5 +15 rpf1's all the way around. 275/35f 285/35r. a perfect combo, imo.

and doing a mild roll is not a big deal its a easy DIY or take it to a experienced shop that you trust

I have seen 275s rub on the front with the RPF1 18x9.5+15, and the 10.5+15 would be even worse. The tires were a set of Kumho XSs that may run a little chubby. He rubbed in the back on the same wheel as well. After a lousy roll, they still rub on occasion.

ive driven my buddies Z alot, and it never rubbed.. he was also lowered on coils in the front. the guy i bought my new wheels off of had 275/35 in the front and those were 18x9 +20 and no probs either...

alignment and tire selection plays a big roll though...

I run 285's on 9" wheels with +20 on the front...no roll or rub. I do run about -3.1 camber though.

Yup, different tires can make the difference. Your 18x9+20 set is quite different than the sets we have been discussing though. I have driven his car on the street, autox, and track, and it rubs a bunch.

Very similar to my old set up (see below).

I'd like to stay away from 275's up front. I like the look of the 245 and something wider in the rear. I'd go 305 if I could. Problem I have here is finding a shop to do the rolling of the fenders. I'm currently in New Bern, if anyone knows of a body shop that knows what they're doing.

If you get higher offset wheels, like the RP03 +30, you could run 305.

Enkei RPF1 Staggered Combo (18x9.5/18x10.5, 5x114.3) for just over $1300 shipped. Is this a good deal and will they fit?
