Official Aggressive Wheels & Fat Tires Thread
There is no next question. This thread gives me a warm feeling that most(not all) are function>form. There's no way your not destroying tires with that setup, I feel like im looking at the skinny tires thread.

Highlight if you like driving your car!
\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/
Now that you guys know there is no track here in Hawaii...and no serious track setup tuners...no load balancing suspension shops...
no nothing!
well there is autoX and that is pointless if you can't go fater than 60mph...

anyways
I took my non-functional Z out for a drive. I put it under heavy braking and severe weight change situations, needless to say the car still moves. Now you ***** gonna be thinking in the back of your head "what do I know about anything". Well I'm here to learn and share...I just did some basic handling test in a very very low non existant traffic area...
50mph lane changes 4-5 changes in a row = like a glove
60mph lane changes 4-5 changes in a row = like a glove
70-75mph lane changes 4-5 changes in a row = started to get sloppy
Didn't attempt anything faster than that...ORM!
The car started to slide instead of tranfer weight after 2-3 changes...
Now to test the car under braking and tranfer weight, or on a track situation "braking into a corner..
50mph braking to 40mph then keep speed and turn = like a glove
60mph braking to 40mph then keep speed and turn = like a glove
70pmh barking to 40mph then keep speed and turn = again started to slide instead of grip!
I'm guessing my damperening is to stiff?
I've research and pm'd a whole alot of folks on different forums about keeping a low center of gravity and being track oriented at the same time...maby say penny up on super soft tires...
Now if you have inputs that are worth a dam...please go ahead..
if your response is going to be the following...
take it to the track...
your and idiot!
trixs are for kids...
you destroyed your nismo...
...what can I do?
^+1, fact is it's still functional. He can get around town no problem with that setup, which is the purpose of a car.
idk why some of these amateur "track gods" are giving him a hard time

a friend of mine got them from tire rack, but ended up needing to sell the wheels they were going on, so he gave me a call and i drove to SD and loaded all 4 into my z. It was 280 for all of them

,whats funny is that only 10% of z owners go to the track... if that... and im talking about REGULARLY...king you have a nice setup... now i dont want to look threw this whole thread for your specs so please post up ur specs....
we should make it a RULE that if you put up pictures then you have to include
1. tire size
2. wheel size w/ offset (with or w/out spacers)
3. camber
4. droped on what
5. rolled, shaved, or pulled fenders
this would answer all the questions that follow a pic... well mostly..lol.. but this would be helpfull and give more members ideas
