Even though i am not a fan of the rpf1 (exception for track use), the newer RP03 is a GREAT looking wheel and is manf. using the same MAT technology as the rpf1. IMO, this wheel is great looking on the Z and was one i was greatly considering when buying wheels. You should look into this wheel if the rpf1 is not your cup of tea.

If you think this Enkei wheel is cheap, take note that in the newest issue of Super Street they feature an FD RX-7 that is known as one the top 20 hottest and best looking cars in LA i think, and it sports chrome finished RP03's.

because the +15 offset will make your Z look like a monster truck if you are not lowered

Ummm…don’t think you read my reply.

Honestly, how does the offset make a car look like a monster truck? For example, their 18x9.5 +15 wheel with a 285/35 tire resembles nothing of a monster truck.

Enkei wheels are made in the same factory as Rays. Enkei's RPF01, GTC01, and similar forged racing wheels are the SAME level of quality as Volk and Rays Engineering. You see Enkei wheels on ferrari's, that should tell you something about their level of performance.

My Enkei GTC01's:

Warning, inaccurate statement alert!

Enkei wheels are not forged the same way as forged Rays wheels. Their barrels are roll formed, which starts out as a cast piece, but then is compressed to final shape which allows for a stronger barrel using less material. Their centers are cast.

Forged rays wheels employ a different, more robust (and expensive) forging process ("RM8000" forging process IIRC). I believe it is a 2 stage process as well.

I would say with confidence that on the quality scale, Rays forged > Enkei roll formed (I run RPF1s, FYI).

Hm, I thought they were completely forged; my mistake - I just looked at Enkei's process and the center is still cast. Still of great quality, and very resilient/strong though.

I've had my front passenger-side wheel run over a 9" curb, and later small bouldar that even dented the bottom of my sub-frame, but the rim is intact, not bent, and remains balanced perfectly. TBH though, I have bent the center hub, and lip of the same style of wheel before, and had it replaced (I ran over a storm-drain that dipped down like 3" on the inside of a mountain road at like 40mph... thankfully I didn't hit the mountain).

Any rim can be bent, but if you're a casual driver... rotas are probably good enough, enkei's are more than what you need, and volk's are just for show.

Satin Black RPF1s, present.

The RPF1s are flow form casted, the same casting method used my RAYS for some of their lines. This allows for the wheels to become very strong, light, and durable. On top of everything the price point is amazing which makes Enkei's even better.

To the above, the F1 wheels are Magnesium alloy pressure cast, not aluminum.

Just met up at a local cruise in tonight and saw that a friend just bought some RPF1's and had them custom painted gloss black. By far the sexiest wheel I have seen on a 350Z, ever. Not to mention he used to run extremely aggressive offset Work Meister 3 piece wheels.

Enkei's are absolutely great wheels. Just because a wheel is not forged does not mean it is not quality, particularly in a single piece wheel category.

Where was I comparing them to Work wheels?

Work wheels single piece "Emotion" series are cast just like Enkei and Rota. All great quality wheels. All around the same price range ($300 a wheel).

The +15 offset sticks out past the fenders on stock height. It reminds me of a monster truck.

doesnt remind me of a monster truck by any means but i will agree that if your Z isnt lowered it doesnt look near as good with 18's. Hell im not lowered yet and i dont care for the way mine looks with 19's.
