Default Axis Angel wheels a replica of something?

Not stating they are, i am just wondering/asking if the Axis Wheels "Angel" http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels.php?id=angle are replica of another brand?

Reason I am asking is i love the design of the wheels, but Axis only offers them in 20". Maybe similar or same design is offered in 19"???

Work Varianza T1S. Search for more pictures on this forum, a number of people are running them.

They are similar, but by no means a replica. Look at the curve on the spokes whereas Axis is sharp angle (hence "Angle") and the spokes go to the edge on Axis and move more inward on Works = a lip.

answering my own question, the closest i've seen are AME wheels but AME wheels have a lip in them which changes the look a bit...

Not even close. FAIL. Although I'm not a fan of Axis wheels, they do have several unique designs, unlike many other knockoff companies.

The Varianza T1s fit this requirement. They look better too.
