volk center caps

Default volk center caps

so my volk center caps came in the mail today! yay!

but.. there are 2 rubber bands? on each cap.

and another set of set in the box? how am i suppose to install these?

They hammer into place. The o-rings help hold them onto the wheel. Place a block of wood or something across the metal ring before you try to hammer them on. If you beat the center section, it will crack.

Both sets of Volk center caps I've installed in my day went on without hammering - I just pressed them in by hand. The wheels were off the car so there was no air trapped in there, but I'm not sure whether that makes a difference. I would try hand pressing them in before taking a hammer to them.

soo are thoes other rubber rings in the box extras?? just inscase i loose the rubber rings that are already TIGHTLY on the caps?

i feel like they are there for a reason lol

Those are spares, might be useful if you damage the ones on the caps when removing them.

i tried test fitting the center caps..

they feel loose.. kinda feels like they will fly off when driving?

replace the small rings with the big ones, its a flush fit

so if the 2 rings that are already on the cap are the same size.. then i dont think it would matter? or do anything?

unless they are different sizes?
