Longevity of Aftermarket Wheels?
Burning black had a problem too? let me know whats up with that!
I agree with no chemicals, but good sealant is a different thing, will protect the paint from fading, tar, etc
this one is good http://www.poorboysworld.com/wheel-sealant.htm, but there are tons of others. General rule here is, if it doesn't chemical smell, but more like natural wax it could be used to protect your wheels.

I was talking to one of the WORK reps yesterday and they admitted the fade could be due to a bad batch. He also mentioned other customers complained about the fading issue as well possisbly due to hard water depending where you live
Blows either way.
I was thinking of picking up a new set from lemans corse. who knows

I have 1000 dollar wheels..work emotion line. Good quality design, proper tire sizes and some common sense will prevent damage to a wheel. Expect wheel damage if youre running a small sidewall, too high of a tire pressure, going over crazy bumps at high speed. In respect to the color fade.. That will happen to OEM wheels too. Old clear coated wheels turn yellow and some even chip. That will happen. Its just a matter of time.
