Default I need Urgent Help on My Tires.

Hey guys I have a 2008 Nissan 350z, and it has about 6800 miles. my tires in the rear got fully dull in the back, so I switched them with these cheap Rotalla f105 radial tires. Same tire size same speed rating, and the front are kinda worn, but still usable. Now that I have brand new tires in the back, when I drive in the freeway my car fully goes to the left or to the right sometimes, when I am holding my wheel straight. I dont think I need a wheel alignment, because I only have 6800 miles, and even if I did why wasnt it like this when I had my brigestone potenzas in the back. Could it be my new tires?

I'll bet its your alignment Sam. Your toe is probably close to zero. That's when your tends to follow small cracks and crevices in the road. You may want to get it aligned.

hey thanks a lot guys, and no davidv im telling you on a straight pavement road, it goes to the left like crazy, so I think it might be my alignment, because my front tires are getting worn out to the left of the tires only, the middle and right side of the tire are not getting worn out. So I think I actually might need the alignment.

FYI : recommended alignment periods are every 7500 miles or so.

Alot can change in 7000 miles, esp since you put new tires on the rear.

the better question I can think of is, why are you changing tires at 6800 miles? wtf.

Followed very closely with, "Why did you put 8 dollar tires on your 30,000 dollar sports car?" The speed rating may be the same, but what is the tread rating? Next question will be, "why does my car oversteer so badly?"

Because I go to the track a lot, and I guess my tires got dull quickly. The tread rating is 340, better than the 140 tread rating on the potenzas. Anyways these tires should last me now that I won't be able to hit the track anymore for a while, and I am just going to be daily driving the 350Z to work, and school. I will just take my 350Z for an alignment, because that is what everyone is recommending to me. I think this will definitely fix my problem.

Do you mean the drag strip (tracks have turns)? If so, you should submit your best time here: https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840...ons-stock.html

I think you are going to hate those tires the first time you take an exit ramp over the suggested speed.

Wow. Saving money on the only part of the car that touches the road. So smart.

If you can afford the 30k dollar car then you can afford a nice new set of tires. Lastly i would check the air pressure in the tires all around and set them all to 35psi. New tires tend to squirm a bit for the first couple days of use.

wow you only got 6800 miles out of your tires...

Last I checked my odo reading was 24,600 miles. And I am still on factory tires with another couple thousand still left in them.

Yeah the only reason why I bought cheap tires, is because for daily driving use, but since the front will be getting changed in 5000 miles, I am going to be getting brand new tires all around, especially not cheap ones that's for sure. All I need right now is an alignment for now until I change out my fronts in another 5000 miles.
