Default Anyone daily drive square setup 275/40/17?

Sup guys,

Thinking of getting the FN01RC 17x10 setup, possibly +25 in the front +12 in the rear. If i get the staggered offset I'm thinking of staggering the tires, but I see that lots of folks are getting the square setup of +25 or +12 all around with the 275 setup. They are using it for track purposes in general though, so just wondering if anyone running it as a daily driver as well and how it handles.

THanks.

I'm one of the ones with the +25 all around track set-up. I don't run them on the street, though I've seen pics of DD'd cars with them. I'm not confident the 275 front will work with the +12, as my +22 (+25 with a 3mm shim spacer) have a little rub on the fender liner. Push them out another 10mm, and it'll be a gamble.

You can see the rubbing has glazed the shoulder of the tire.

255/265 tire in the front +25? Would that clear your setup, I see the glazing on the top of the shoulder I have stock Brembos on my car.

Thanks for the help.

Yeah, I think a 255 would be ok with the +25 since that'll give it a little stretch look. It may be worthwhile to do your purchase in stages. First order the two +12s that would ultimately go on the rear, however, you could do a test fit with them in the front. If they work, order two more +12s, if they don't, then order the +25s.

Same with the tires - get two 275/40s and try them on the front before ultimately putting them on the rear. If you're not lowered, the 275 front may not be an issue.

I found some FN1ROC's at discount tire for $207 each. 18X9.5 23mm offset. Do they come in 18X10? I hear they weigh about 22lbs. Tire Rack has TR MT1's 18X10 for $269 about 22lbs.

Sadly FN's don't come in 18x10, only9.5 and no super concave face like the 17x10's.

I'm dropped about 2.5 in the front, 2" in the back with Cusco A's and SPC rears, there is very little camber in the back. The front is about 2 degrees, the Cusco's don't have the greatest adjustments--unless you like only the negatives.

I'll probably go with the staggered offsets and tires, +25 255/40, +12 275/40.

Thanks Scotts300 for the pics and help.

I ran 275/40 r18 on all 4 with a +20. I did not experience much if any rubbing in the back, but I did rub the fronts pretty bad under full compression after I crimped the fenders in the front and took out the top dead center pan head screw that held the liner in.

I will be running this again with a 35 series tire on the front and I will probably roll the rear fender just to get it out of the way.
