check out the stock rim modification thread first to at least see if you like what they will end up like. Which stock rims do you have?

Don't paint your stock wheels Save up for some decent ones instead.

I recommend you search deep inside your soul for the answer. Meditation and yoga may help. Often I have seen people come to a revelation after a drug induced journey.

here..if you have the 5 spokers this is how it will look..I think it looks nice but I favor it since this was my car before volks. I already had coilovers and spacers on the car..so its gonna look quite a bit different if yours is stock height.

Save your money for some aftermarket wheels; the stocks look good already. Nothing says "I'm broke" more than painting stock wheels.

i did the whole "DIY spraypainting stockies" on my old RSX.. if you DIY it when ever you get new tires the paint will chip + i had a few chips from little random rocks, but bottom line is: if you dont want to fork over the money for aftermarket rims.. you should get them powdercoated, it should be about 50$ per wheel ...but powder coating will hold up unlike spraypaint..

its up to you, do what you want, if you want black stokies then make it happen

At some point in time we all feel legally broke, aka not being able to afford what we "really" want. The hope is times change so for now enjoy the oem look. Don't force yourself to create your wishes. The result would be a Z that looks like crap and a driver advertising his "broke" status.

Could not agree more.

Each time I see a well maintained 350Z stock, I say Damn that's a good looking car! Change for the sake of change will not make the Z look better. Its just makes it look different.

since you are in SF, why don't you check out some wheels from wheeldude. they're in fremont and pricing isn't that bad.
