The wheels and the offset are the most important factors when determining how flush your tires fit to your fenders. Your wheels (8.5” front and 9.5” rear with 20 offset) will look very good and fill the gap nicely.

Your tire selection (225/45-18”F and 245/45-18”R) will be slightly stretched. You will have more “gap” with these stretched tires than if you mounted 245/45-18” front (EDIT: Should be 245/40-18" front) and 275/40-18” rear.

Some people prefer a stretched tire for its appearance; but comparing the two different setups, I think you might like the wider tires better. You’ll fill the gap (that you seem worried about) better with the wider tires. And… the wider tires will provide better traction, grip, and handling.

Don't you mean 245/40 18 in the front?

man go for the 245/40/18 front and rear at 275/40/18 a 45 will sit taller a slight bit and you'll want to lower it a bit more the 245 on a 9.5 width will have a lil stretch n wouldnt look too good for a rear i have that on my front as im running a square wheel/staggered tire set up i just couldnt see that on a rear imo

I would not drive with a 245 mm tire on a 9.5 inch wheel but you can.

Yes, they agree to put a tire that's too wide for their wheel.

Note - this is your opinion. Many people run 9 or 9.5" rear wheels that look fantastic. It's all offset dependent.
