Tires for Stock 18.5 rear rims....
Hi guys,
Anyone running a 275/40/18 setup on the rear rims? If so please give me some feedback. Also, I was thinking about running Bridgestone 960AS's or something similar that will last back there. If anyone has an experience with those please share. And FYI, I have done plenty of searching on this so people telling me to search, F-off.Thanks

Feedback you want , DON'T , the wheels are not wide enought to run a 275. The tires will bulge , the sidewall will flex and the car will handle like ***.

We're missing one critical detail - what model car do you have. If you have TCS/VDC, then the front/rear stagger is important. In that case, 245/265 would be better than the 245/255 setup. Or, you might get away with 245/40 and 255/40 as there is still a small stagger (0.3").
If you have a base model (no TCS or VDC), then you can pretty much pick any combo as the stagger is not critical. It is still a factor in the handling of the car though, you don't want 225/275.

Just get some stick/quality 245/45 rear tires, i'll bet it will handle better.
