Default Question for you Volk owners

Since half of this site owns Volks, I figured I'd ask here.

This question is geared towards those who had to custom order wheels that weren't in stock.

I ordered some Volks back in June. I was told 6-8 weeks, and other people told me that's a very optimistic ETA. Does the vendor gets any info from Mackin regarding when the wheels should be ready? My vendor told me they'd be here last week with their big shipment of Volks that were coming, and now they're saying another 2-3 weeks because matte black wheels take longer. I'm just growing a little concerned.

Mine took 3 months to come in from Mackin.

You just have to wait, vendors only get limit information from what ive heard. So just be patient.

I used vividracing. The communication is great. I can call any time and ask for my salesman. But I'm just growing a bit impatient I guess. I had my fenders rolled/shaved the other day by Robispec to fit these wheels.

Special orders typically take 3 months. If it happens that something you order is already in the pipeline to Mackin or the vendor, then you might get it sooner.

At least the retailer said 6-8 weeks. Be patient or cancel the order.

Yeah I love it. I was just at a shop and a GTR had the Amuse exhaust. I'm going with Blitz though. $2000 cheaper .
