Default Help/input on offset

whats a nice offset on some 19x9.5/19x10.5? 275 tire in the rear and dont want tire to be aggresively stretched more like a mild/medium stretch same goes for the front and front tire will be 245 I am getting some wheels custom made

The offset has nothing to do with the stretch of the tire on the wheel. That's a function of the wheel width and tire width. The offset controls how far out/in the wheel sits relative to the fender opening.

You should go with a 255 front though, 245 might be stretch'n it narrow in the front with 9.5.

Well I dont want the aggresive stretch that I saw on the other AGGRESIVE thread I want a mild stretch which is why I was thinking 245 in the front and 275 in the rear now as far as offset what do you guys think? I have been looking for pics of Z's with 19x9.5+25/19x10.5+23 or similar offsets but havent been able to find any

I know that offset has nothing to do with tire stretch lol my bad I was typing too fast and didnt proof read hahaha

On 9½/10½ wheels, I'm running 255/285 widths. I consider those very safe and conservative as a lot of the 245/275 combos I've seen looked too stretched for my taste. Keep in mind that tires vary by brand and some may look better or worse than others as far as fitment goes.

255 / 285 = Conservative.

Keep looking, your on the right track with the offsets.

I agree with this. I've ran several 285s setups and it looks beautiful. Too bad the T1Rs doesn't come in 295s because i'd like to try that out

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to ...oh never mind
