Question Thoughts on what size spacers?

I'm having a tough time deciding what size spacers to put on my G sedan. Fronts are 20.9.5 +3 and I'm thinking either 15, 20, or 25. I will be getting front upper A arms and adding more negative camber. Currently fronts are at -2.5 and I want it to get it to match, as best as possible, to the rears, which are -7.5.

Here's a pic with 10mm spacers at -2.5 camber (no adjustments, oem camber arms, just natural camber from lowering). In these pics rear camber is at -4.2.

10mm on the passenger side, no spacer on the driver side

I'll get a better front pic tomorrow, but here's what I got for the time being. The rears here are -7.5, and of course, no spacers on at all.

Here's a pic that really brings out the amount of camber in the rear

Please, if you don't like the setup, that's fine, but I'd like to keep this thread clean. I'm not asking how you think it looks, just trying to find out what size spacers would fit flush after some added negative camber (I'm guessing around -5 or more? I really don't know how much negative camber I can get out of the upper A arms...will be going with Cusco's negative arms).

Damn talk about an aggressive stance. I would run no spacers it looks like its out way too much. the contact patch of the rear is what around 75% or less. How long do tires last you? 5k yes it is cuckoo aggressive nice stance but at what cost more pics of the car too, good luck

With your stance, the size of spacer you want/need will be completely dependent on how much camber you end up running.

If I were you I'd get the camber set first and then make your decision.

I can't put anything on in the rear. Right now the fender hits the wheel so hopefully a stiffer spring rate solves that issue, but I know it won't once I lower the car some more...it almost clears it. I'm going to put on wider tires (235/35's to close the gap between the fender and wheel).

As for front camber, I'm unsure how much negative camber I can add. I'm guessing I'd be at about -5.

Duro, I'm not sure how long these tires will last, I got them on not too long ago and recently added more negative camber. I gotta check on them but last I did, there was inner wear, but not a whole lot. With the 10mm it is out too much, but again, thats with no camber adjustment, adding another -3 degrees (I hope) would help out quite a bit.

I don't get it though. your rim lip is already way past the fender. to fit a lower offset, you increase the negative camber more, which keeps the lip at the same spot, but forces your car to adopt a ridiculous stance to achieve the same look.

I think you are basically moving backwards and doing it just to do it, for the sake of saying what your stats are to your buddies. and that is a retarded reason. I think your car looks good as-is, though obviously the rear is too much.

if you insist though, I agree with cheshire... get the a-arms first, see how much camber you can run then space the beaotch out of it.

That's the whole point of stretching tires and running negative fifteen degrees of camber. Get with it, lad.

Problem with getting the a arms first and cambering is that I don't want to drive the car too long without some sort of alignment and I'll get charged for that. I have 15mm spacers now, but it requires the bolts to be replaced. If they are not wide enough for some reason to sit flush and I need 20's or 25's, I'd have to wait for them to get shipped, which will take a couple days. After I get them on, then I need another alignment...basically paying for something twice when I'd need to only do it once. If I didn't have to deal with paying for it twice, I'd most certainly go the route of getting the arms on first, but I can't so I'd like to do it all at once.

without a-arms there is basically nothing for them to adjust on the front of the car anyway so I don't see your problem.

go somewhere and get the 3 year alignment or whatever, then you can get it done as much as you want.
