Gte some thing with a chrome lip so when ur car is waxed and shiny and your lips are polished it would look nice

If I was gonna run 18's, I'd get light weight wheels that perform well. Somehthing like a Nismo or Gram Lights. Polished lips look better on 19's and up. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

Go with 19's if you can.. IMO they look better on tha Z than 18's.

Of course if your going to be more into racing, then 18's are a better bet.

Silver or Gunmetal with a polished lip looks great on black IMO.

I like the Volk GT-C's myself

Default Wheels

First of all you got to go with 19. The car comes stock with 18 if you are going to invest on new wheels then you might as well go up a size.

I like the Maido GR5 or the Volk GT-7 for your car.....

Default Yeah but...

Yeah 19's look better but I want look and performance, and 18's are better for that. 19's will slow down my acceleration speed.

nothing wrong with 18s, I for one can barely tell the difference.

personally I love the bronze rims on my SB, but I do wish they had a polished lip, it would bring in the silver color from the handles and lights very nicely.

dont worry about the 19s, rims are often not thought of as a performance mod, but just asthetics, and as of late, larger seems to be better. not everyone has to follow the trend. 18s are pretty damn big as it is, you'll never see a true blue race car with 18s even, let alone 19s.

but then again, the Z is like a model, put any shoes on her and she'll pull them off with ease.

I think the Rays Tracks are the best looking wheel for the dark colored Z. You can buy a perfect, nearly new set from someone who bought a Track and swapped them out. Less than $2000 with the tires.

I can't post a pic of my SB until the weekend, but there are plenty of pix to see in the gallery. Take a look at Dr. Bonz' Brickyard. It gives about the same effect as a Super Black.

You might want to get some spacers to move them out a bit so they don't look as "tucked in" as they look stock. There are 2 or 3 current threads about that.

Lots of other wheels look great, depending on your taste. Some of my favorites are Volks Racing TE37s, iForged Aeros and the Nismos. All in the Gallery, along with lots more.

The main thing is, go with what YOU like. If you go with the consensus on this board, you'll end up with highly polished 19-inch wheels and you'll lower your car an inch or so. That's not my favorite look for this car, but then I wouldn't choose this car to try to do a quick quarter mile, either.
