I have never read of anyone that has successfully restored volks anodized clear lips. Your best bet is to have someone strip off the clear and polish the lip. Then you will either have to experiment and have some type of clear sprayed or polish them every time it rains or wash the car.

I have also heard of a clear powder coat in my area, so you could call around and see if that could be an option.

Its a hard DIY. If I were u I'd take em apart. Get the center repainted and the lips chromed.

Ok. The fastest ways is buy 3 cans of stove cleaner pull the centers off. Spray the stove cleaner and wait.. After spraying the last wheel go back to the first 1 and start sanding. 1000, 1500, then 2000. If it doesn't completely strip the anodizing you must do another stove cleaner coat. You Must wear rubber gloves while doing this. After its done it will be better than new. But you gotta coat them with a protector.
