Question Can 10"rims fit on a Z without mods

I was considering buying either 19" or 20" Foose Spank 5 rims. Has anyone seen a Z on 20s?

10.5"s actually fit on the rear with no modifications. HRE had them on the SEMA car last fall. 9.5" front.

Get on the thread that says: Maido or Volks... at the end or second page so far, you will see a Infiniti with 20 x 10.5 Maidos GR5. You are able to put 10.5 with without any mods to the fenders.

I just bought 18X10 Axis wheels for front and rear for a track setup. I have yet to test fit them on my Z but Axis had them on their Z.

The 10.5 inch wheels on the rear may require fender rolling. It really depends on the offset/wheel combo. With the right offset you may be able to get away without rolling the fender.

Search for the HRE Sema thread.

They've got 19x10.5" on the wheel with no body mods and the car lowered about an 1" if I recall correctly.

30 is just a percentage of the number infront...

255-35 is just as thick as a 275-30

question: Why do so many stock Z's roll with 10 inch wide wheels? Isn't all of that tread going to slow one down substantially?

Are you putting lawn mower wheels on it or what?

Only if they drag race which is contradictory to the Z's purpose. The wider wheels will hold better around a corner. But if you break them loose, sometimes they can be harder to get back under control.
