It's my understanding that it's OK to have different front and rear tires as long as both rears are the same, etc. I just replaced my oem tires with S03's - my rears were shot at 13,500 miles, fronts still had a little life left but changed all four at once to eliminate the hassle of going back in two months to replace the fronts.

As long as the same axle contains matching tires, and all tires are of the correct size, you're OK. By matching, I mean same size, brand, and wear.

245/45/18 and 255/45/18 are great for 8.5" wheels (Rear only) The fronts in that wheel width would be 245/40. If that front size is used, you should run the 255/45s in the back.

i switched my oem rears to S03's because i got a ****in nail in my side wall... :zoink:

I have 16000 miles on them and they were actually in GREAT condition...

my fronts are still ok.. cept for feathering but hopefully that is being taken care of by nissan...

so now i have the 2 new S03's in the back.. 245/45/18..

and im going to get the nismo wheels.. and put these tires on the FRONT and get rear as wide as i can get for the 9.5 nismo's to match..
