deciding whether to keep nexen n3000 or change to vredestein tires..
hi everyone,
well I was recently in the market to purchase tires for my z. I live in new york and will not be driving my z in the winter but I mainly wanted a tire that was great in wet/dry road conditions. My bf recently purchased nexen n3000 to give them a try which were recently put on the rear. Nexen does not make the stock tire size for the front so yesterday he purchased vredestein ultrac sessanta. I had never heard of the brand but after searching I found some great reviews. I will be mounting those tires today so I have yet to try them out.
Now my question is should I keep my recently purchased nexen n3000 or change them and get the vredestein ultrac sessanta for the rear?
Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

^ No mention of Nexen in there, David.
Nexen are good tires for the price. The tread life is pretty long with these as they are by no means a "Performance tire" in the true sense of the words.
They have good traction, long life, and few if any problems i have ever heard about.
Most wheel and tire shops use Nexen as their baseline tire for wheel packages, if not Nankang. Both are extreamly cheap but will perform well for daily driving, but of course that is all they are good for.
The Ultracs, just as you mentioned, comes highly recommended by those who use them. It is another budget tire, but seems to be much more used than Nexen by Z drivers on this forum. The reviews for this tire speak for themselves.
IMO i would get whichever company makes the correct sizes. DO NOT mix match tires on the front and rear. There is no extream danger or anything by doing this, but due to varying tread designs its not recommended....usually for slight handling issues.
