Default should I go with these tires?

Went to a shop today. Guy is trying to sell me toyo proxy 4 245/35/18 for front and 275/35/18 for rear. (at least I think that was it) I think he said if I wanted t1r's in this setup it would be $880 total with install.

Should I go with that setup? It's a pretty reputable shop, they supply for some race teams in the area, or so I've been told.

245/40-18" front with 275/40-18" rear is closer to stock size. The 35 profile you mention is better suited to 19" wheels.

You also need rear wheels wide enough to hold a 275mm tire.

I suggest going to the Tire Rack website and reading up on them. Actual owners review them. Compare prices, etc.

Stock wheels? If so you'll probably be running a 40 series tire and a 275 probably isn't gonna look so bueno on the rear

Yeah, I'm really trying to figure out why he said 275 on the rears. What's even crazier is that he wanted to put 285's back there, but said he didn't have them in???
