I think you need to look at pics of Z with wheels and decide what YOU like, what YOU think looks best. It's your car and your money, don't let the questionable opinions of others control what you do with your car.

Start here....

BTW - you'll figure out what looks good when you see it.

Which birthday is it for you?

BTW, they're called WHEELS (which have rims).

You're right about one thing, black is overdone. White looks too plastic, like a little RC car has. As an alternative to black or white, look at gold.

You can also look through the individual color threads to see other DB owners rides. There are many different car/wheel combinations and maybe you'll see one you like:

bronze looks good, gold always work with blue, gunmetal. I wonder how blue on blue would look.

First setup a budget if you're choosing wheels.

Your available selections will vary greatly within that particular price range.

If you can dress yourself in the morning you can certainly pick wheels.

OP, search first and then make your decision. Don't allow others tell you what's whack and what's not! and welcome to the board. How old are you?

You can see by all the opinions you are getting on your thread that this is personal taste and what’s important is what you like.
  • I really like black spokes with a polished rim on Daytona Blue and Redline Z’s.
  • Gold was very popular in the 1970’s, and then disappeared. But, now gold spokes with a polished rim is making a comeback. Some people like this look with blue or red cars.
  • I would eliminate white (looks and reminds you of vinyl), but that’s my personal opinion and may not be what you like.
The best advice here:
