Alignment doesn’t fix suspensions problems (as the "rough ride" you ask about).

Here is a good description of tire alignment:

http://www.familycar.com/alignment.htm

Your Z requires periodic alignment. Proper alignment is the best way to protect your investment in expensive performance tires.

The problem you describe could be caused by a number of things. Please provide the following information:
  • Your suspension (stock or modified… and if modified, a description of the mods)
  • Your wheels sizes including the offsets
  • Your tire sizes
This info is needed if you want accurate replies instead of guesses.

I have everything stock on my 08. Stock tire sizes in the front are 225/45-18. The rubbing/scraping occurs I think only on the front passenger side.
