Default Proper Offset Selection

Hey guys, I am ready to pick up some Axis Hiros for my Z. I want to do 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. I didn't see anywhere that lists the proper offsets though. Can somebody let me know what looks best so that I can make sure I get the right ones?

Thanks

Anything from +12 to +25 will fit properly. Also, this horse has been beaten to death.

What are your options? I would run 9.5 all around probably.

I think I found it. I guess the search didn't like how I entered it the first time. Most people seem to be running 19x8.5F with a +20 and 19x9.5R with a +25.

Off-set is a subjective matter and depends what look you want. You could go from +30 to 0 (or negative). BTW - I like the Hiros on a Z.

Me too. I looked for about a year and only found a few sets I REALLY liked aside from the Hiro. Stayed stock just for the fact that I couldn't find anything that really caught my eye, except some that were $3500 just for wheels alone. But after looking at these for so long and them always being my favorite, and coming across a great price, I'm going to go ahead and bite the bullet.

So, to expedite this thread to the bottom of the page, have you decided what sizes you are going with?

Give me something original to work with here like:

Front - 16x10.0
Rear - 20x7.0

because this has been done 100 times.

What my Hiros have, and best offsets for Z that Axis makes:

19x8.5 offset = 20
19x9.5 offset = 25

Although it sounds somewhat conservative, Axis designed these wheels and these exact offsets to fit on the Z.

You sound like me. I too went through the 100's of options and the Hiro made my short list. I actually ended up going with the Rota R45P's. I have many friends who spend $$$ on wheels (Volks, etc.) and had Work on my Supra (way back). All those cars got stolen and stripped. I just didn't want to have something that flashy that I would have to constantly worry about. I got a good deal on them and fit my criteria for looks, weight, and off-set. Good luck!

IMO i wouldnt spend that much on axis wheels. Just because they dont bring back anything remotely close on the used market. So if you can pick up a used set and save that $.
