Default Ideal Offsets for 19x8.5 and 9.5 Rims?

Hi Guys,

I have been searching for a long time now to find a solution to my problem. So before the talk about searching comes up, know that I have searched. I am making this thread mainly to get input from the members who the same width rims as mine, with similar tire sizes.

I have the Nismo LMGT4's. I love the rims but have a small problem with the offsets. I have it in mind to go with 20mm spacers all around.

Specs,

19x8.5+25 245/35
19x9.5+30 275/35

My question is, for those with rims of similar widths as mine (19x8.5 and 9.5), What is the ideal offset (to be sitting flush with the fender) for those size rims?

Pictures of your car along with input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Dan

That's exactly what I had in mind, I just don't want it to look too stupid in the back, I've measured and measured, I was just praying that maybe this thread could help me find someone who has a picture of 19x8.5 and 9.5 rims with a +5 offset all around.

The tires extending beyond the fenders and throwing dirt and debris on the sides of the car is not my idea of cool. But some members like it.

Very true, I just like the look, thought i'd try it out and see if I like it because I need to get the sides and front repainted anyway. I see that you got a 370z in your sig, congrats.

Bump! I'd like more info on this as well. I was thinking of +10 to +15 all around with the same setup and lowered 1.5-2.0 inches for close to tucking and retaining OEM or near OEM camber specs. Anyone have any ideas of how this would look?

20mm is fine. Checkout my album for reference.

A 19x9.5 net +5 in the rear will need a fender roll. That's not "flush", that's sticking out.

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it. I have to stop over analyzing the problem and just do something about it. I am going to order 20 mm spacers all around to bring me to a +5 in the front and +10 in the back.

Why not order one pair of 20mm spacers first. That way you can try them at each location, and make adjustments - if necessary - before you buy the second pair.

Anyone have more input on: 9.5 rears with either +10 or +15 running 275's, lowered ~1.5-2.0 inches. I wonder what kind of camber is needed not to rub.

I have a 19" x 8.5/9.5 et.+22 offset all around, with 245/275 / 35 tires. It's about 1/3 of an inch gap from the top of the wheel to the fender.

I'd say somewhere from et.+15 to +18 with a mild drop would get you the flush look you're going after.
