Default Volk VR.G2 (pics requested)

I've searched the forum, and browsed pages and pages of Volk wheel threads, and haven't found any pics of these wheels.

I'm interested in the VR.G2 in the formula silver color. Looking to run 19x9.5 up front with 19x10.5's in the rear +23 all around. Would be on an 2005 black 350z.

Please share pics! Thanks a bunch guys.

Here is one from forum member rpz33 (hopefully he doesn't mind me posting his pic here):

Search his username in the >>>>>>Volk Owners Only<<<<<<<< thread and you should find some more pics.

Hmm, those just look a little off from what the VR.G2's look like on the website. Here's a pic of them on a black GTR...

I like the pic of the GTR, but I don't so much like the picture of the wheels on the Z posted. The color of the VR.G2's shown on the GTR is formula silver...perhaps a different color is on the Z? Any thoughts?

nope those are authentic volk g2's on the 350z and that's how formula silver looks.

They look different because the g2 on the r35 is 20 inches while the volk g2 on the 350z is 19 inches.

20 inch has no lip or concavity which looks bad imo.

oh and the color looks like that on the 350z because formula silver tends to change color depending on lighting conditions. One of the best colors ever!!!

There you go bud 19" VR.G2 in formula silver.Fronts 19x9.5 +23 rear 19.10.5 +22.They look stunning in the flesh, good choice but i am a bit biased.

As has been said the ones on the GTR are 20".

I have the 19" G2's and it is both pictured on my Redline in the 19" wheel thread and the Volk's Only thread, I can't post a pic yet because photobucket is down for maintenence at the moment. Oh and I got them from rpz33.

I also have a set of formula silver wheels (not G2's though), and I agree that it is one of the best colors available now. Goes through many color changes throughout the course of a day. Looks best when it's overcast out IMO.

Awesome! I just got a set of Formula Silver G2s that are the exact same size and color for my Platinum Graphite 370Z. If I don't like them on the 370Z I may put them on my DB 350Z after seeing your pictures. What size tires are you running on yours? It looks from the pictures like you have 245/35/19s on the front and 275/35/19s on the rear, but I was trying to read the sizes in the pictures.

I ordered 255/35/19s for the front and 295/30/19s for the rear, but I haven't gotten them yet. I thought about 305s for the rear, but decided against it although I know they will fit the 370Z.

Yeah bud you got the tyre sizes spot on.Would love to see pics of them fitted to the 370.Although i would have thought 20's would have suited that better.

Thanks. As soon as I get the wheels on I'll post some pictures.

No 20" wheels are more than I want although the car could handle them. I like the 19" wheels on the car.

The 20's are a different design to the 19's ,the spoke goes to the edge of the rim.Does not look that aggressive in 20" in my opinion.

I know and I agree with you. BTW the design for the new 19" G2s that Volk is getting ready to come out with will look like the 20" G2s without a lip. I'm glad I got mine before the design changed.

Fron the Vendor I got them from. He had two sets of 19" G2s left when I started looking at them. I got the last set. He told me that not only had the price gone up for all Volk wheels starting February 1, but that Volk was changing the style of the 19" G2s so that they would now be like the 20" G2s. Unless someone has a set in stock you may not be able to get 19" G2s with a lip any longer.
