Question Nankang Tires?

Someone recommended these tires for my '05 350z and I've never heard of
them. What's the story from the experts? And what's w/ this cupping?
What causes it and do they have to be replaced right away once it happens? Thanks, Lisa

I just put them on last week there not bad for what they are. Guys are comparing them to tires that arent even in the same league. If you want a cheap decent tire to drive around that last long by all means there not bad def worth it. If your looking for a performance tire then no. I got tired of spending top dollar on tires every year. Check out cooper zeons also there not bad

Lisa - I'd buy some OEM take-off Bridgestone or Michelin tires. I sent you a PM with some options if you're interested.

I agree, cause I'll be the first to say once my new rims get here I'm not spending like $800-1000 on tires, for what....I could see if I"m doing aggressive driving, track days, street racing, etc. but when you're pretty much just driving around town cruising on 3K-4K rims and what not then why bother spending like 300-400 dollars a tire? Now when I had my RSX (450whp ) then yes I was spending top dollar on tires cause I was just driving it like a mad man, street racing, corners, etc. But like he said if you just want a tire that's gonna be used for daily driving then why not but if that's not your intentions then you better be ready to spend some cash.

It's a good tire if you're short on $$
Not sure if they wear faster tho..?
I would get them if I had to

Have you looked into Vredestein tires? I'd def pick up a set if they come in the size you're looking for. Great reviews and they're very reasonably priced.

+1 I've used the Cooper Zeon Sport tires and I liked them. Low-cost, decent treadlife, good tire for someone on a budget, that's not really doing much but commuting to work and back. Looking into a set of Vredestein tires now.
