HRE Flagship…..First 350Z with the Finest
I've seen Gerald's rim in person and they are SWEET! Perfection color combination for Silverstone.
Tim, can't wait to see you pictures. BTW, I'm suprised none of the NY members are going down to Philly for tomorrow's meet.

....also....i think i realized somehing....all of us that have the brushed finish from iforged agree that its beautiful..and by the way Vic..just wanted to say thanks cause you answered a lot of my questions a while back that helped me (look at my sig..see anything familiar hehe
...anyway...this is the thing i realized.....the SILVER finish was never seen by anyone in person....i believe that the silver finish is a bit darker than brushed aluminum and that it would match our cars better (silverstone)....brushed aluminum is better for CS...just wanted to say that

As havabooz mentioned, I think brushed aluminum or silver face look better on CS but, again, this is only my opinion.
I will get some better pictures of Gerald's car tomorrow and will post them for you to enjoy.

I know what you mean. Its hard to find what right to go with the CS. In some light its actually hard to tell the diff. between CS and SS. In general I like how dark wheels look when there is a nice shiny wide lip to go with it. I think I'd like a dark center wheel with my CS better than a satin finish (although I do like your wheels).
I really like Steve from Canada's (Z2thhdr) grams on his SS also.

Actually it is much lighter than gunmetal. If you compare the above rear wheels you will note that these, the fronts, have a slightly narrower lip.

Reason I chose the charcoal center was because I did not want to take away the main focus, which in my case was the 350Z in its entirety, car/wheels/etc together in one picture. But being that the HRE 840R(s) have an absolutely striking appearance most viewers will do a second take……and this is usual response,
“I love your car, you’ve got a beautiful car!” “Wow…they're HRE(s)!!??”
I suppose it all boils down to what is it you want to stand out; as cars with fully polished chrome wheels will, in most cases draw the viewer to the wheels first, then the car.

Oh well, I suppose I'd now have to go out late at night to find a fully lit parking lot and take some pics
The M3 does look great with the HRE 841R(s), then again the HRE(s) themselves does add an elegant class to the wearer; some more than others
I do like the M3(s), in fact before I got the Zee the Beamer was on my list of considerations. One draw back, if you look at our roads, every Tom, Dick, Harry and their mothers have a Beamer; too common a sight on the roads.
In any event, I always had an unexplained affinity with the Zees
I somehow find the zees more of a connoisseur dream. Don't get me wrong, the BMW's are outstanding cars, in fact I prefer the sedans over the sports models. But, then again, I have yet to come across a Beamer that could keep my zee in the dust, many have tried but failed.
Thanks again for your candid comments

As a fellow HRE/350Z owner, I will make a suggestion several people (including Bob Hale of HRE-HREwheelmaker) made to me after getting my HRE's. Drop your car. I waited about 4 months between getting my wheels and dropping it an inch all 4 corners. After I dropped it, it looks much better.....Jeff
