Default Advan RS - Color Choice?

I've pretty much settled on getting a set of 19" Advan RS wheels. I need to decide on the color. I have a black 350z. I'm trying to decide between Gunmetal and Chrome. I usually don't like Chrome, but the RS Chrome appears darker and looks good. So, what color RS wheels do you guys think looks best on a black 350z?

Also, if anyone has any pics (side view) of these two colors installed on a black 350z, then please post. I can't hardly find anything anywhere. Thanks!

Well, both of the wheels posted below are of the RS-D and not the RS. One of the RS-D is matt black and not gunmetal, the other RS-D is machined black and not gunmetal.

I could have posted pics of the RS wheel (anyone can do that by googling it in 2 secs) but it's not just about the color of the wheel, but the look of the wheel on a black 350z, which I don't have good pics of. Hard to find.

Have you considered gold as well? I'm not a huge fan of black rims/ black car since it just kind of 'disappears' on a car. Maybe you are looking for that look, as many people on here do. Plus, I thought the matte black finish is only available on the RS-D.
Chrome wheels just set off flashbacks to tahoes and explorers running on 22"s. There are only a few chrome wheels that I thought fit the Z well.

The gunmetal color you first mentioned would look nice... thats my vote. (biased opinion since I have gunmetal RS myself)

I have looked at gold, but ultimately can't do it as my primary color. Maybe if I had two sets of wheels I would, but if I can only get one set, then it won't be gold ... you know what I mean.

Your right about the matte black only on the RS-D. I'm not actually considering the RS-D, just the RS. I don't like the lip on the RS-D.

I get what you're saying about black rims "disappearing" on a black car. This is why I'm still considering the chrome RS. The chrome RS wheel doesn't look bad. It's not like the chrome I feel other people are envisioning when they think of chrome wheels. Also, the gunmetal color isn't black like the matte black or machined black color. It doesn't look as dark. I'm definitely not getting the matte black for that reason alone (i.e. the "disappearing" reason).

It's a tough decision actually. I know what I like, and I don't really need the assurance of others, but with this color choice between gunmetal and chrome it's really a toss up for me so I thought I'd see what others thought.

Thanks for the input.

I would make an effort to see the finishes in person considering the amount
of money this set of wheels is going to run.

RS gunmetal (of your options)
I would go with RS in gold
may i ask why you can't get gold wheels as your primary colors?

I have nothing against gold wheels - just not my taste.

That's pretty tough considering there is a 2-3 month wait on getting the wheels from Japan, finding pictures is tough, and I don't really know anyone with a black 350z who has the wheels. If someone has pictures please post!

Just do a search, there are plenty of pictures of the RS on different color cars. Here is a Black with chrome on post 30

Hmm, the more I look at the RS-D in matte black the more I like it. I'm definitely leaning towards the RS in gunmetal or the RS-D in matte black. I'm beginning to feel that the RS-D with the lip might look a little better than the RS on the Z. If I could only find more pictures.

I do appreciate everyones input. Thanks.

Some prefer the RS to the RS-D and vice versa so only go by your own likes and opinion.
I like both but the matte black rs-d is my wheel of choice.
I have a white Z and went with the RS-D matte black.
Havn't received yet but looking forward to getting them.
Some pics in thread below - you've probably already seen these though.
