Default 06 gt wheels on my 03 question?

Will I run into any problems? I know the lug pattern is the same, but I swear I read (but now can't find) about issues but can't remember if it was 06 or 07 that there was complications. PLEASE HELP!

As others have said, they will work great. Just be prepared to spend a fortune on tires for those wheels.

I wasn't prepared for the cost of the tires! Haha.. I like the wheels enough for it not to matter. I have found tires new for 720 delivered, and can get them put on the wheels for cheap. I know they can get ridiculously expensive just trying to find some that will roll and be somewhat decent.

Did you get the wheels or was it rims only?

A great option for a decent tire at a great price is the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110.
Size options are:
255/40-18, 275/35-19 (2.2% stagger, .8% faster, 60.5mph @ 60mph)
255/40-18, 285/35-19 (3.3% stagger, 2.2% faster, 61.3mph @ 60mph)
265/40-18, 275/35-19 (.9% stagger, .8% faster, 60.5mph @ 60mph indicated)
265/35-18, 285/30-19 (2.8% stagger, 2.2% slower 58.7 @ 60mph indicated)
265/35-18, 295/30-19 (2.8% stagger, 1.2% slower 59.3 @ 60mph)
275/35-18, 295/30-19 (1.8% stagger, 1.2% slower 59.3 @ 60mph)

Depending on what you want, I'd go with the 255/40-18, 275/35-19. If you want a lot of rubber on the wheels, then go with the 265/35-18, 295/30-19.

The 255/40-18s are $155 at Tirerack and the 275/35-19s are $176. A lot of good tire for a very reasonable price.

I haven't gotten anything yet but a shop right around the corner from me has nexens n3000 for $750 Or Nittos nt555 for $890. Those are on the wheel and out the door prices. Does anyone have any horror stories on either of these?

Not a huge fan of either. I personally think there are better tires out for the price. Are you only open to those 2 tires?

I am open to anything, but those 2 tires have higher treadwear ratings 300 on the nittos and 340 on the nexenx, and the price is right. I am not going to be taking the car to the track, or driving much over 120. I don't want to spend more money and get tires that are the better performance tires, but don't last a year... trying to keep it under $900 also.

Not to be repetitive, but take a look again at the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110. They have a treadware rating of 280, great reviews last summer from Car & Driver, and in the sizes you are looking for, I think they are about $740 shipped. Add another $100 for mounting and you are around $850 for a better tire. The Hankook are also symmetric tires, so after you start to get some camber wear they can be flipped to get more like out of them.

Twist my arm Looking into the Hankooks 760 to my door. I think I can get them on and everything cheaper than 100 especially because they will be roll outs I will mount them on the car myself.
