Default Upsized tires on stock 07 Rays

This topic has been seemingly beat to death in this site and I really don't want to add to it but here goes..
I found a deal on a set of the stock rays 18x9 and 19x10
trying to decide on tire sizes for these, my Z has VDC and from what i gathered on here I need to keep the difference between the front and rear tires to around 3%. I don't want to run the stock tire setup of 245/40/18 and 265/35/19 because I can't find matching all season tires in these sizes, and I want all-season tires because I never know when I'm travelling and dont want to worry about weather. So then my choices would be to go with the standard 245/40 and 275/35 but that puts the difference at around 3.4% or I could go with 255/40 and 275/35 which puts the difference under 3% but I'm not sure if I can run that wide up front. So any helpful advice and input would be greatly appreciated.

245 to 255 is only 10 mm. Look that the 245 mm tire on the car. Certainly you can squeeze a extra 5 mm of rubber on each side.

You could run a 275 on a 9, the smaller sizes you suggested are absolutely fine.

245/40-18, 275/35-19
255/40-18, 275/35-19
255/40-18, 285/35-19
265/40-18, 275/35-19
265/35-18, 285/30-19
265/35-18, 295/30-19
265/40-18, 285/35-19

Will all work. I'd suggest the 255/275 combination for your purposes if you can find a tire you like in those sizes.

One suggestion would be the Continental Extreme Contact DWS in 255/40-18 and 275/35-19. $184 and $220 at Tirerack.

Just put out the bucks for a set of Potenza 265/35/19 & 245/40/18. You will not regret it.
