Tire fitment on NISMO rims
#2
NO!
You can, but it's a "stretch". 8" and 9" are the maximum recommended widths for those tire sizes. Why not go ahead and get some new tires? I got a set of Kumho MXs in 245/40 and 275/40 for $705 shipped directly to Bankston Lewisville.
Having the perfect widths matched with the perfect size tires is a beautiful thing. There's absolutely no bulge nor stretched appearance in my tires on the right size rims.

Just trying to save a little dough. I am getting the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's but my stock tires still have a TON of tread left and didn't want to waste it. Tires and rims for sale...

If you do as KONVERTER recommends, you'd kill the stagger. You could do it, it would fit, but it's not the right thing to do.
BTW, I just got my SP9000s mounted and balanced. The wheels and tires look great. Cost me $909.00 for the tires, mounting and balancing, chrome valve stems (I didn't like the black ones) environmental fee, and my good friend SALES TAX.

I was going to use the stock tires too on the Nismo rims and was told by two installers that they would fit but the rear would be stretched to the max. I ended up splurging and getting new S03's. Will keep the old tires/rims and sell eventually.
