Color ideas for my stockers
Ive come to the conclusion that my 03 stock 18's are very boring and need some spicing up.
Im not ready to buy new rims JUST yet.
Im looking for some ideas on color schemes or colors to paint them. My Z is daytona blue so my first idea was to have a medium grey on the outside and on the inside of the rim have it daytona blue(or close).
I tried to photoshop something real quick.

that black line around the rim is actually blue when you get closer...im not sure about that one or not...

I painted my stockers gold. I have a for sale thread in the Mid-A section on them if you'd like to see the results.
Here are more of your options;

You also have the option of powder coating them, which opens up a plethora of color options. Personally, when it comes to blue, such as your Daytona Blue, or my San Marino Blue, the best color combinations, in my opinion, seem to be;
Gold
Graphite
Gunmetal
White
Silver
Bronze

I agree about repainting stockers a different color looking cheap. If you can't afford new rims that would fit the Z, then, look at some lowering springs or used coilovers to improve the appearance, in the mean time.
