Default Which tire sensor on display is what?

two of my tpms sensors are out, theyve been rolling around in my tires for about 15,000 miles without a mount.i bought a mount kit "$40"...

one TPMS reads "0",
one TPMS reads "--"
the other 2 are fine.

i found a 4 pack to buy for $311, the other two work but are badly damaged and i plan on owning the car for a long time.
i want to get 4 new ones, but if i want to see which tires have the bad sensors

my gauge pod for tires show F: (34) "a" /// R: (0) "c"
------------------------------(--) "b" /// (34) "d"

is "a" front left or front right???
is "c" rear left or rear right???

any ideas on how to get a good deal on this, ??

You can pick some up in the market place cheaper... usually see them go for ~100 a set.

You'll have to check the sensors to find out which-one-is-which.
What I did, was put a bizarre amount of air in one, either high or low. High is probably better. Then drive around to get it to read, then you can figure out which one each is.
The reason I say this, it that when I had my tires balanced one time, the tire store swapped my rims side to side. Even though I told them not to. So, what had been the RR, was now the LR and the same for the front.

A is front right for sure. I deduced this from a slow leak I once had. An educated guess for C would be rear right... just an assumption based on the fact that those cunning japs like to read right to left.

Not if the wheels get moved.

Mine is oriented as such:

top reading is passenger side,
bottom is driver side.

Made sense for me, since the bottom side has an < in it. Helps me remember... lol.

'08 doesn't have a pressure reading like the earlier models.
