I am just stating my opinion so don't all jump on me at once. ACE and ADR wheels are cheap fat chunks of metal. My friend owns a wheel and tire shop that sends ACE and ADR wheels back all the time for cracking. Why would you buy a $30,000 350z and put a set of cheap wheels on it? You can get a set of 18 inch ADR or ACE wheels for about $700. $700 retail is cheap for a set of 4 18 inch aftermarket wheels. I wonder how cheap the invoice price is? I would rather buy a set of used Track Rays wheels or just keep mine stock. If I was driving a KIA Sephia then maybe I would consider buying a set of ACE or ADR's for my G ride. Cheap wheels for a cheap car! You should save up and buy a nice set of wheels for your 350z such as VOLK, HRE, SSR, WORK, or Racing Hart. Do it right the first time!

I just like the look of the Zeus wheel. Another wheel I'm considering are the Gewalt EVO 3's, but I'm having a hard time finding someone in SoCal that sells them.

No flamin here..VOLKS and all those others are definitely quality wheels. But I have yet to see factual proof that ADRs are cheap and poor quality. Depends on how much of an impact did these people encounter to bent a rim or something. IF some test was done say the same if a machine with a Hammer can hit both wheels with same force and speed...then it will help.
Also, IMO, its a 30K car,,,not a 40 or 50K car. I dont make as much BLING as others and like the Z, i prefer best bang for the buck and can't justify a car payment per wheel. But thats my opinion.

with the money spent on a set volk. ssr, work, or rh, you could probably buy a kia sephia.

coz they look good. plus i havent seen any sign that they are of low quality. that doesnt sound like "doing it wrong the first time"

but hey, if alot you out there are making the grip of money to buy the VOLK, HRE, SSR, WORK, or Racing Harts then that's cool too. i know i'm not.

I'm in the same boat. If I had the $$ to get Volks, I'd probably go that route as well.

Bat,

I was also considering getting the ACE Zeus wheels a few months back. The guys on this board pointed out that the offsets available on the Zeus are not very Z friendly. You could always add spacers I guess. Also what widths does the Zeus come in? If you want to go with the popular 245/275 tire sizes you definately wanna get at least 18x9 in the rear.

I ended up getting the hyper gray privat fahren and have been pretty happy with them. The big polished lips make the rips look smaller, especially in pictures, but in real life when you can see the wheels 3-dimensionally the polished lips look great. I like the Gewalt Evos also.

I was thinking 18X8's front and back, and running a 245/45 series tire on the rear. Will that work?

Bat,

I'm sure that some combination of sizes including 245 in the rear would work. However, you have to make sure that the tires sizes and stagger are as close as possible to stock in order to not screw up your TCS/VDC/ABS. I don't exactly know how to do the calculations. I asked for advice on the boards before I bought my new wheels/tires and the recommendation I received was 245/40/18 in front and 275/40/18 in the rear. The wider tires really do make a difference..

Nice, the lip makes the wheels look smaller than they really are. Still undecided at the moment though on wehich to get. I really like the Gewalt EVO 2's but they're hard to find. Also, the Stilauto 5's are nice as well, but they're backorered for a few months.
