Hey guys, got a general question for yall with sportlines or those who have first hand knowledge with sportlines. So here it is, i have already purchased all of my parts including Sportline springs, rear camber kit, wheels and (front) tires, just havnt installed anything yet because i havnt received my wheels as of yet. I need to know what tires to run in the rear to avoid rubbing and whether or not you guys think i will need to roll my rear fenders?? Wheel specs are 18x9.5 et15 front and 18x10.5 et15 rear and the tires for the front that i have already purchased are size 245 40 18s. As for the back i was thinkin i should run either 265 35 or 275 35?

a 265 or a 275 will be stretched on a 10.5" wheel regardless... Your et is +15 in the rear, so I don't think you'll rub... It never hurts to get your fenders rolled...if you do, make sure you find the right person/place to do it

275/40 is the proper rear tire you need. The 245/40 front and 275/40 rear is the common size tire you run with those sizes. RPF1's right?

Yeah theyre the sbc rpf1's, i was more set on the 275 35 im just not sure if the tires will tuck or not, i know the 265 35 will work, just tryin to get a lil more meat.

It may, now if you go with a shorter tire like 275/35 or 265/35 it willnot tuck unless you lower it a lot more. Oh ya , VDC/TCS and ABS will flip out.

Well i guess i should add that these sportlines are temporary just because i wanted some kind of drop and found an excellent deal on these in the forums, but i plan on purchasing some stance gr coilovers for myself sometime late this summer! Therefore i wanted to go ahead and get me some wheels and tires that will cooperate with a decent slam on coilovers in the future.

you have 40 profile in the front? I would suggest you run 40 profile in the rear or your rear diameter will be shorter than your front. I have 245/40 fronts and 265/40 rears on my RPF1s, same sizes as yours with a mild drop
