Default Rim and tires...

I have a 2003 twin turbo Z. I am trying to find what size the smallest size rim that will fit the car. I am getting Nitto 555, and they are strictly for drag. Since I am trying to save money I would like to get the smallest size rims. Any suggestions?

Why would you use a regular street tire for strictly drag racing? Why not use a drag radial?

You are not a drag racer.

put spares all the way around. they hook great

in all seriousness though, get a 16 with some drag slicks not radials. Im under the impression you dont have a bbk.

Depends if you have OEM Brembos, OEM nom-Brembos, or other brakes, though it seems silly to skimp on a drag set-up.

Which TT kit do you have?

^+1 your rotor size would be a main factor in what rim size you can fit.

A "drag" setup without DR's or slicks? AND cheap usually HEAVY wheels as well?

Great thinking bud...

I run DR's for my street setup.....just got them delivered yesterday

This year trying Nitto NT555R extreme's 305-35-18 (used to run same tire on my 03 cobra, different size though)... Wanted something that could still be driven on if I got caught in rain.

Last year ran a 295-35-18 BFG DR...thanks to Scott!!!!....but if someone spit in front of the car, hang on.
