You will not rub, discount tires really doesn't know much about our car.

^^ Yes. The tire dealer is being overly conservative here.

Alan, Here’s the way to go with your new wheels (as terrasmak mentions in Post #16):

20mm offset, front and rear wheels
245/35-19” Front and 275/35-19” Rear

That setup is fairly conservative, looks good, and won’t rub. In fact you can drop the car at least a ½” and not worry about rubbing.

save your money. with those wheel and tires sizes you are going to create more gap and later be upset you don't look "flush" find a used set of G35 rays with tires and save yourself the money and trouble

good choice with the +20 offset, you will be fine.

I cant believe they tried to get you in a +45 offset.. that would look soooooo terrible

I suggest also buying 10 or 15mm spacer for the front and 5 or 10mm spacer for the back if you are going with 20mm offset and staggered rims of 8.5/9.5. the spacers will give you the flushed tuck that everyone desires without rubbing. Trust me on this, I tried your setup and theres was still too much room for more offset. I did 15mm up front and 10mm in back to get it where i wanted. Even then I could have just done 15mm all around since I cut the rear fender lip (most people roll the fenders since cutting must be precise).

The better option is to go with 9.5 front and back (10.5 rear if it exist). with 9.5 front, it wil be perfectly flush sitting on 265 tires and 20mm offset, NO RUBBING. With the back you can just add 10mm spacers and be super happy with the rear because it will be flush with 275 tires (no rubbing if you roll fenders).

The offset calculator is a good tool. Instead of asking for suggestions you can decide what suits YOUR needs best.

I don't think that will work for someone who has asked "opinions" on the setup that three different people have told him will work fine.

Good choice. It will look good and won’t rub. I say forget about spacers for now, and “mount ‘em up” and see what you think.

Once you have the wheels and tires mounted, you can decide if you want to add spacers, drop the car a little, or do both. And, you might (probably will) decide to just leave them as they are.

You can go crazy and spend a lot of $$’s trying to fit just a few millimeters more for the “perfect” flush look. And, if you get it too perfect (with a drop and spacers), you could end up needing to roll your rear fenders.

I’m certain you will enjoy your new tires and wheels. You have chosen a good setup.

thanks for responding.
Yes but I recommend wheels with the correct offset rather than incorrect offset with ghetto spacers.
