Default 10.5 rear 245 wont fit?

ok. so 18inch 10.5 rear.. will 245 40 18 fit? because i went to tire shop and they couldnt put any air in it. if that's the issue, will 265 40 18 fit?

an inch is 25.4mm. so for dumb math lets say 25mm per inch.
10.5 x 25mm = 262mm. so your wheels are significantly wider than your 245 tires. i ran 275s on my 18x10s.

or you could try actually utilizing that extra width on the wheels and get some meat on there, you know, for traction.

stretched tires FTL in terms of looks (just my opinion) but FTMFGDL in terms of safety (fact)

I'll take 305/25 on a 10.5 wide rim any day

245s will fit though, Iv seen quite a few set ups with 225 front and 245 rear with the standard 9.5/10.5

The type of tire you are using is also important. Some tires stretch better than others.

245 on a 10.5 is a significant stretch. But it is doable given the right tires and a good shop.

Unless your setup is that aggressive [that you must have such a stretch not to rub], I would recommend at least 265 on a 10.5

nah i never hate on people's modding style or choice of mods; even the guy who painted his 350Z with flames and the blue headlights with all chrome spoiler, I was one of the few people who told everyone to let him be its his car and his style.
but im advocating against it for safety issues, looking out for my brothas!

I agree with Mike...it doesn't look safe at all. I disagree with his choice of not saying that 245 on a 10.5 looks stupid as well

Yes, 265 is the smallest recommended (safe) size.
