Default forgestar f14 offsets

I've been looking around and i'm not what the closest offsets i can get without rolling my fenders for the 19" forgestar f14 wheels. Got a 06 350z. Thanks

I'm not sure what offsets to get with 19" wheels and going with probably 8.5 front and 10 back. I dont want to have to roll the fenders.

Pretty good looking wheels, however...

Offsets are not Z friendly. For an 8.5 front, and 10 rear, you would want offsets in the very very low teens or even under +10 in order for the wheels to be flush.

Your best option with these is the +20 in the rear which wont be terrible, but wont be flush. In the front, +26 is your lowest avaliable offset, and that is WAY too high for only an 8.5 width wheel.

Unless you want to use spacers, these wheels will never come close to achieving the flushness you want. I would keep searching.

They can be flush, you just need to go with a wider wheel option. Here are mine with no spacers:

They fit very flush, but they are much wider than what you were looking at.

My specs are listed here;

Find *ICE* I sold him a set of 19x10+20 with 255/35/19 and 19x11+33 with 295/30/19 on them. I had tons of room with that setup on my G35, but he noted it was a little tighter when transfer to his Z, but I dont think he was rubbing still.

I've since gone to 285/30 and 305/30 with new rear offsets for my G35.

Sadly the Forgestar offsets in the smaller widths aren't ideal for an aggressive setup on the Z/G. 19x9+10 or 0 would be nice. 19x10+20 is pretty good IMO and a 19x11+23 through 28 is good for the rear. Thats the easy part, picking a tire gets a little more complicated at that point.

I'm dropped quite a bit on Stance GR+ coilovers and I rolled my fenders. I don't know if the 295's would have rubbed without the drop though.

another option with the 19x10+20 and 19x11+30 combo might be 285/35 in the rear with a 255/35 in the front.

i think im gonna go with 9 in the front and 10 in the back just to avoid adding more weight from bigger tires.

So the width of the wheels has no effect on how the offset is measured?

Lets say a 8" wheel with ET40 will sit the same as a 9" wheel with ET40?

Wrong, offset is dependant upon width. For Forgestar specifically, the depth of the concave is not determined by the offset like other companies that offer concave wheels. Forgestar only uses a deep concave on their typical rear wheel sizes.

For instance, the F14 in 19x11 on a Porsche with 50mm offsets has the same deep concave face as my 19x11+23.

The 19x9 variant the OP is talking about getting will still be concave, but it wont be the deep face. Its very shallow by comparison with the 19x10 and 19x11 face. No biggy, really. Consequently, the 19x9 (+20 I would think) will still be tucked within the wheel well. Don't be surprised if you find yourself getting pressured to get spacers to achieve some flushness.

Ok, then let's just say the porsche 19x11 50mm has the same bolt pattern as the 350Z (just pretend)...

If you wanted to mount those wheels and got a 30mm spacer would it fit in the 350Z as a net 20mm offset wheel?
