XXR Wheels Thread
Your z is ridiculously clean what size spacers did you need and I guss its safe to assume you had your rear fenders rolled.I just want as much confirmation that this will fit mainly before I commit and order them
Hi Everyone,
My young son has a stock 2004 350z Touring model and needs new wheels and tires and I am completely confussed ( my old age at 60) about sizing and offsets for his car.
I know that his current stock wheels/tires are 225/45/18 (8" wheels) for the front and 245/45/18 (8 1/2" wheels) for the rear.
He likes the XXR 521 wheels either hyper silver or the machined silver in the 18".
They come in 18x8.5 with a 25 offset and also 18x10 in either a 12 or 25 offset. I am sure that he would want the biggest tires as possible with being safe with no spacers involved.
Would you please tell me what size wheels and offset. I have read that this model has to have different size wheels up front than back, is this correct?
Also, what is a good brand of tires and sizes for normal daily driving.
I know that I am sking for a lot, but the more I read on this site, the more confused I get.
Thanks for all of your help in this matter.
Mike

You can follow what this person did:

XXR 521's 18x8.5 +25 (245/40/18) 18x10 +12 (275/40/18) - No spacers are needed.
Tires are all about what your overall budget is, you can spend some time browsing on Tire Rack if you search by size and it gives you both reviews and pricing:
Search for both 245-40-18 & 275-40-18

Do an advanced search for "526" in this thread if you haven't already done so, there should be several examples here

I'm looking for a wheel and tire set up. I'm looking to spend around 1500.00 and these XXR's have always got my attention...

I'm new to the wheel and tire selection for Z's so a little help would be appreciated.
I need to know how these will fit on my 06? Will they stick out if the fenders? What size tires would be good for these? Lastly, I plan on a mild drop with some Tein S Tech's. I don't really want to roll fenders or any thing like that. This is my DD and I need to keep it driver friendly.
Thanks.

S Techs are pretty low for a daily. I would look into H techs and maybe 19'' inch wheels. The 526's are a very good looking wheel. Although people will hate just because they are XXR's. But not everyone can spend over 2 grand on wheels. Good luck.
