Default Off topic real quick

I got the xxr530 18x8.75 and 18x9.75. I wrapped the front with a 265/35 and I think it looks good. I want to wrap the back with 265/35 too, how would that look? Car is stock right now, will be lowering the car on coilovers in about a month or two.

So question is, would the 265/35 be ok and look good in the rear on a 9.75 wide rim.

it will look weird because the front will be meatier than the rear... i would put a 285/35 on there.

8.75 is kind of narrow for the z.

Well I went with a 265/35F and 275/40R. Stock height for now but will be going low soon. These are xxr526 I think, in chrom - black.

Question, the front left wheel had this funny looking nut, the rim was able to go on but without the hub rings, only way I could get it on. What is the nut for?

The wheel had a nut on it or the rotor?

No one knows what you mean! Can you be more specific or post a pic?

Jesus it's just that little nut that everyone removes to get aftermarket wheels on. Just take it off, it prevents stupid people from trying to put the back OEM wheels on the front.

It's rare to find now, but most of those bolts were removed by first owners or retained in unmodded Zs.

Anyone know if 530s will clear Akebono with a low enough offset and wide enough wheel?

Sorry for the lack of info. The nut is on the rotor, and it was only on the front passenger rotor. I will get a picture of it tonight.

Default wheel and tire size/fitment opinion?

Hey guys, I got my Z about 2 months ago and im ready to swap out the stock wheels and tires. I was looking at XXR 530s to start with. I'm gonna go with 19x8.75 on front and 19x10.75 on back. The only two offset options they have are +15 and +35. Which ones would you recommend for a nice aggressive look? As for the tires, I'm going with 245x35x19 for the front and 275x35x19 for the back?

Thanks guys, as you can see, im a noob lol

P.s. its on stock suspension as well. I plan on lowering it in the future too. I would lower it first but I need new tires anyway so I'm trying to get that out the way first.

John I would reconsider the 8.75 in the front. Weak sauce. Idk other options but go 9 or more. +15 offset. And those tire sizes are fine if you want a non aggressive look. Imo 265 285

In the XXR 530s, the only sizes offered in 19 inch diameter are 8.75 and 10.75. I don't understand why XXR didn't make a 9.75, as that would be better suited for most people's staggered tastes.

Why don't you search for someone who has done it and ask them.
